Should I buy this Cake Decorating kit / icing kit?
Hello, I’m new in making cakes and I really want to decorate a cake such as bakeries, but the tools are so expensive, such as plastic ice bags and tips # ht_891wt_911 <<less http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Icing-Bag-Set-Tips-cake-pastery-decorating-/190434491728?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0 All I could find is this. Is it strong enough?
No. It is cheap junk and will not perform better…Buy a quality bags and tips for use and only use Wilton metal tip, but the plastic ones are not good! Keep watching permanently and keep an eye out for a good selection on Ebay and you can get a full range of cake decoration reasonable suppler sure to check the shipping Many sellers pad shipping costs may have to be patient but at the right price will come Many of these vendors buy in the disbursement of auctions, sales of goods & garage sales. Collect tons of things cents EDIT I checked out Ebay and there are some kits available Wilton’s not a starter kit of 32 pieces 19.99 more $ 3.75 for shipping and a cake decorating kit of 11.98 for 18 pieces, plus $ 3.16 to send as strong reusable bags I have 8 inches 10 inches and 12 inches sunrise detergent bags I can use and take my bags and tips in hot water and soap after much cheaper than having to keep replacing the bags and has much better control over your decor then the flimsy plastic bags, if the teams have no hooks can also pick them up cheap at Walmart bags and tips, colors can also get Cake Pans on eBay and Amazon.
