birthday cake candy sushi!?

I want to make a cake for my sister’s birthday on Sunday decorated sushi with candy, sweet but do not know to use, anyone knows how to make sushi and sashimi fresh look realistic?

I made one before with sushi and coconut-covered marzipan wrapped fondant. The sashimi is in flux. If you want something simple, to jumbo and cut marshmallows in half, then paste coconut sticky side. Add bits of cut up to look like jelly centers of the rolls. Buy Tootsie Rolls and heat in microwave a little, then roll some of them together and cut a strip of film in.
