Decorating cakes? where do i find people who need one?

where (what website) can i find people who need cakes done for weddings on birthdays anniversayies etc?

advertise in your local paper to start with and have some business cards made up or do them yourself on the computer. ask shops if you can put them in there window or on advertisement boards which most small newsagents ETC have. this is the best place to start. once you have a few clients and if they are happy with your service word of mouth will soon start to happen and you will have clients coming in quick. once you are fully established you may want to think about putting an advert in your areas phone book. i wil suggest though that you do not make this your only way of income to start with. it can take a while to get things on there feet. i wish you all success in this.

it is also a very good idea to make a portfolio of some of your designs so you have something to show your new customers of your talents and to help them make a decision of what type of cake they would like
