Dessert ideas ???

I am planning a surprize dinner for my husband.With Father’s day this weekend my husband’s children are coming for dinner Saturday night.We are just having fried chicken that will be picked up by one of the children at a local chicken place. I will fix the side items after the kids get here.I need some desserts that I fix Friday afternoon and hide in the closet in a spare bedroom.I need something that can be kept at room temp. I am looking for something out of the ordinary. Something besides brownies and cake or pies.Thanks for your ideas.
Please remember I need ideas for desserts that can be stored at room temp. I can’t keep the surprize if the refrigerator is full of desserts.

Ooey Gooey Cake is great and goes well with a “casual” meal like fried chicken:

“OOEY GOOEY” CAKE

1 box yellow Cake Mix
1 stick butter
1 egg
1 c. nuts, chopped

Mix ingredients together with hands. Ooey gooey! Pour into a 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan. Frost before baking.

FROSTING:

1 box powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 eggs

Blend sugar and cream cheese. Beat in eggs until mixture is smooth and creamy. Spread over cake and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.

It’s a cake, I guess but not in the traditional sense.
