Christmas recipes ?

For the days leading up to Christmas I typically make a few batches of short bread cookies with my 8 year old daughter because they’re easy to decorate with my 4 and 3 year olds. Then, on the 23rd I usually make 2 different types of cake. I bring one to my mother- in laws for Christmas Eve, and the other to my mother’s house for Christmas day. I’m tired of my old recipes… what are some good recipes for cakes or cookies that I can involve my kids into?

for the cookies, please try these. or something similar. they are fun to make, look fantastic and the children can hang them on the tree as decorations.
